FOOD SUNDAY
Bringing in canned goods, staple products and using the Red Bordered envelopes in your monthly packet are great ways to help the needy in our community.  FOOD SUNDAY is the third Sunday of every month, please consider donating.  All collections of food go to either the Copley Outreach Center or the Good Samaritan Hunger Center. Every little bit helps!

A NOTICE TO ALL EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Deacon Adair will be conducting a third and last updated training session on Sunday, Dec. 2nd after the 9:00am Mass for ALL Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist that have NOT attended the Aug. or Sept. sessions. This is a Diocesan required training which also includes parish
specific guidelines which will allow everyone to understand the norms and rules of administering Communion to our parish. Whether you are a new minister or one having served for years, you are strongly urged to attend. 
If you can’t attend this last session please contact Deacon Adair at the Rectory 330-666-1373.

THE 27th ANNUAL HOME RUN FOR THE HOMELESS
Gennesaret’s annual benefit race for then homeless will be held at 419 W. Exchange Street in Akron on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd. Gennesaret is all volunteer, having no paid staff, and serves poor families and individuals via the Gennesaret Family Nutritional Center on the west side of Akron where there exists the greatest need. A side note, the president/founder and the vice president are Roman Catholic Lay Missionaries of Charity of St. Teresa of Calcutta. For more info: https://runsignup.com/Race/OH/Akron/

THE GIVING TREE
We will once again have our “Giving Tree” at the entrance to the church beginning Nov. 24th through Dec. 2nd.  Each gift tag on the tree has a child’s information to help guide you in your shopping.  The children we support are from the Barberton Head Start program as well as Embrace Clinic & Care Center (Pregnancy Center).  Please consider purchasing clothing and a toy or book.
PLEASE Note; the child’s tag must be attached to the gift securely. The last day to bring gifts is Sunday, Dec. 9th.
